about

Imagine you’ve been kind of wrong about everything. This idea was generated by the observation that Australia is “disturbingly similar” or “comfortably different” from what I know as a North American. Driving on the left, solar panels on the north, trees drop their bark not their leaves, animals have pouches & hop, virtually everything.

And, of course, this is also meant as a broader analogy to prompt further thoughts and reflection. Things are frequently not as they seem, but if you squint a little, you can sometimes get glimpses of interesting and potentially profound underlying truths.

lyrics

Unseen progression
Unmatched exception
Exactly not the same
Misplaced migration
Lesser derivation
Momentum will remain
Murky expectation
Blurry generation
Legacy aflame

Bark is coming down
The bark is coming down
Bark is coming down
The bark is coming down

Baffled formation
Motley combination
Texture is to blame
Tangled rotation
Tortured degradation
Pulverized remains
Gaudy* modulation
Marred interpretation
Exactly not the same

Bark is coming down
The bark is coming down
Bark is coming down
The bark is coming down
Bark is coming down
The bark is coming down
