Wide awake, middle of the night, creativity flourishes, and all is well. An anti-lullaby – not to encourage sleep but, rather, celebrating nighttime awareness and imagination.
(The title “Nighttime Accord” is descriptive of the theme but also a play on the main instrument, the “harmochord”, an accordion-type bellows instrument.)
