Sometimes everything falls down despite our best efforts. But even in the bleakest of times, as long as the smallest ember of desire and determination stays lit, there is hope. (Backdrop: I arrived at this Wyoming Artist Residency in Nov2019 during a cold -14F windswept snowstorm. I immediately wrote the signature “Cold Cold Cold” groove and ran from there.)
